Q. do fairies go to school, if they do what do they learn....and do fairies grow wings or are they born with them..Beth |
| A. I think fairies go to fairy bootcamp, well atleast I know all of my fairies go to bootcamp before they are re-homed. It is much like school but tougher, they will have lots of training in becoming a good household fairy. But also, how to fly, this does not come very naturally to a fairy, they are not the best flyers which is why they often flag down a dragonfly or butterfly for long distance. They have special training in becoming mindful. Because fairies can be very scatty and often get caught up in many thoughts at once and this can get them into quite a pickle. So mindfulness teaches them to slow down their thinking and think 'one thought, one action'. As Peterpan told us fairies only have room for one feeling at a time because they are so little. This is something us humans can learn from them. They also learn how to understand ''Human folk'' , as we can be quite a puzzle to them. They learn about the education of a fairy, and things to be aware of in the Human world. As fairies have been seriously effected by the pollution and pesticides and these are threatening to a fairy, so they are educated for the best places to set up their homes. Anywhere with lovely garden, especially if the person has prepared it just for a fairy. Sometimes they have to learn just to sit still as often they find this hard, mainly because durring their rushing about they can disguise themselves behind a flying leaf, or get blown along under the hood of a cracked open conker, but sometimes they must learn to just be still so they can feel their magic. They learn all about wings and wands and sparkle, the best places to sleep and what to do if they come across a troublesome human. So although for them bootcamp maybe a two week crash course, they fit in as much in two weeks as a little girl or boy would fit into a whole 5 yrs of school. As for the matter of wings. When she is born she is born with tiny little stumps behind her shoulderblades. A fairy baby grows quickly, gaining weight and strength from dandelion milk and nectar which is rich in nutrients. Her first flying experience is usually clutching onto a dandelion seedhead. Then as she weens herself onto porridege and lavander for breakfast and takes her first cup of honey dew it gives her strength to grow her fine silky wings, which at first are never very strong and if she has an accident and the tear we have to go and find Mr Gossamer the biggest spider in the forest and he uses his gossamer to spin the edges of the fine little wings so they don't tear again. I do hope that this answers you question, love and fairy magic Tabi-fey xxxx _/'__¸.¸.•¤**¤•^.,.•¤**¤• '*•. .•*a sprinkle of fairy~* /.•*•.¸..•¤**magic**¤•. ♥ |
