Back from the wings of holidays and hope carols rang out to barely a croak determined resolve, resolutions provoke endless possibilities that sprout in feverish spurts like a bottle that's popped it's proverbial cork, releasing ideas and dreams that were caught which shall you choose as the layers unfurl into unknown futures twisting they curl ~ let's
gather them up and launch them all, as a card decks thrown
wherever they fall the hand will be dealt but choose what's to play?

2010 Tiger, tiger burning bright...
'Hold The Tiger' …you may remember that caption 'put a tiger in your tank' from the Esso petrol advertising campaign, you can't keep that Tiger pinned down or caged for long, this is the year and the sign of COURAGE.
The Tiger is said to be very lucky, vivid, lively, dedicated and charismatically, charmingly, engaging. Another great attribute of the Tiger is their incredible bravery in a willingness to engage in battle with undeniable courage
Years of the Tiger
The Tiger Years are the third in a cycle of twelve Chinese zodiac signs. It is thought that the Jade Emperor gave the third position to the Tiger because of his bravery in swimming through the strong, torrential waters to reach the other side of the river. As the Chinese New Year is lunar based and does not fall on a specific date, it is best to check the calendar to find the exact date on which each year actually begins for this year of the Tiger it is the 14th February. Given the passion and charming, charismatic nature of this sign I feel that this is more than a coincidence falling on this date, could be a year for winning people over and for love and respect as well.

The Metal element provides a keen sharpness in action and speed of thought. Tigers born in this Metal year will be likely to stand out in a crowd. As many celebrate throughout the world the beginning of the Chinese New Year, last year I was amongst a throng of people who watched the Lucky Man give out the red envelopes to the children, as part of the festivities but it is thought also by some that the giving of the red envelope not only brings luck but also anti aging possibilities for the deliverer that of longevity. At New Year everyone becomes a year older. The more red envelopes that are given the more powerful the anti-aging effect of the tradition!
